    Hello,

What steps should we follow to install Radcontrols for Windows Forms if we would not like the re-code an application that was written under the trial version license?? Is just as easy as simple this?? :

    1. Uninstall trial controls
    2. Install licensed controls
    and
    (3. Recompile our project
    or
    3. Recode our application)

The application was written with trial version 2010_2_10_806
We have now 2010_2_10_914 licensed version.

    Thanks,
    Rafael

    Hello,

    This worked:

    1. Uninstall trial version
    2. Install licensed version
    3. Load the project and reassign (delete/add) Telerik assemblies references.

    Regards,
    Rafael

    Hello Rafael,

I am glad to hear that you found the answer to your question.

Indeed, the only difference between the Trial and the Dev versions is the Trial popup message that appears randomly. You should not experience issues when switching from Trial to Dev version. If you update from one product version to another (for example, from Q2 2010 SP1 to Q2 2010 SP2), however, you may experience differences in the behavior of RadControls. We publish a list of Release Notes with each new version that comes out. You can find the Q2 2010 SP2 release notes here.

    I hope this helps.

    Best wishes,
    Nikolay
