Has anyone used the Platform to store\stream audio or video?  We're needing an app to capture content, which would then be stored somewhere, and then browsable on mobile and the website itself...through flowplayer or whatever.

Hello Steve,

Thank you for posting to the Telerik Developer Forums.

I'd like to summarize here some useful information about this matter.

In the context of Telerik Platform you can store all kind of files in the Files installment in Telerik Backend Services. All files are immediately uploaded to a highly-available Content Delivery Network (CDN). However, such files are optimized for download.

In a app that needs to stream audio/video for online playback it is highly-desirable that the files storage provider exposes a streaming API with support for the different encodings and formats. Unfortunately, this is currently not supported by Backend Services.

Since we highly value the input and feature requests proposed by our customers and prioritize our development efforts accordingly, I am pasting here the link to the dedicated feature request in the Telerik Platform Feedback portal.
