I'm familiar with making my own themes, but the SpinEditor does not seem to accept new colors for the "up/down arrows". I want a new fill color for those buttons.

I also followed the Spin Editor Styling Tutorial, but again nothing changes the arrow buttons from their default blue shading. Also, when I'm in the Visual Style Builder's design mode, the display of the button does not change at all as I pick the various "state" tabs. Everything works great with other controls, just not the spin editor. ??? - Aussie

    Hello Michael,

What version of the RadControls are you using? As you can see from the attached screenshot, the arrow buttons on the RadSpinEditor can be styled.
    Regards,
    Richard

Thanks Richard, I bet you're right that I'm using an older version. Runtime version v2.0.50727, version 2009.3.9.1103. I'll see about us updating this. Thanks for the speedy reply. BTW, we love RadForms.

No problem. Once you've upgraded, if you found that worked, please remember to mark as answer.
    Thanks

    Hi Michael Holten,

    Thank you for writing.

Richard is right that the up/down arrows can be themed. In Visual Style Builder you need to navigate to:
    1.In the Controls Structure:
RadSpinEditor>>RadSpinElement>>Up/DownButton (either one Up or Down)
2.Then in the Elements you need to go to:
    RadArrowButtonArrow(ArrowPrimitive)
And set the ForeColor property to the desired color.

You can look at the attached screenshot to get a better idea of the solution.

I hope this will be of use to you. If you have further questions, I would be glad to assist you.

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Petrov
