Response to Keyboard

Hi,

May I know how can I set so that the ribbon bar will not response to keyboard?

I found that, the ribbon bar might cause error while I press "CTRL".

Please advice.

Q1 2008 RibbonBar is all buggy when it comes to key events, but there is workaround till patch is available. At least it works for me. Just register "Enter" event of an ribbon bar which triggers when it gets focus. Then right away return focus to some other control (it was DockingManager in my context, but it can be any control, just not ribbon bar itself or form on which ribbon bar resides).

Sorry, I am a bit blur on the solution given. Can you please give some sample code? I guess those bugs are driving me crazy, where are are not consistence, and I would not just simply reproduce them... :S

Wondering if the problem will solve if I down grade it back to the previous version.....

Thank you for writing.

There is a known issue with key handing in RadRibbonBar with the first version of Q1 2008. I have just noticed that you have received a link in other support ticket with the latest custom build version 6.0.2.0, a pre-release of Service Pack 1. It should resolve the pressing key issues.
