Hey guys,
I know you all do a great job with the presentation layer but how about the next tier down? A ORM Mapping tool that any of your controls (and maybe even Reporting) can utilize.

Indeed, our power is in UI controls and we have no plans to go into Object Relational Mapping at this time. This idea was discussed for Sitefinity v3 (www.sitefinity.com), where different DBs can be used, however we decided to go with a 3rd party tool, namely Nolics.
We may start thinking about an ORM Mapping tool once we have depleted all ideas about UI controls. Time will tell, I guess. We still have a lot of work to do on rendering and footprint, so we are not short of ideas on how to improve the current lineup. And we need to put more efforts on our services, in order to stay on top of this niche.
Nevertheless, we will be happy to hear any other thoughts on this request from the community. Thanks up front.
