Hi Telerik,

Hi kdev,

We will consider extending the current version of RadWaitingBar. Thank you very much for the suggestion. If you have any other feature requests, please feel free to share them with us.

Hi Audrey,

Thank you for your question.

We do not have such control in our WinForms suite yet, although it has been logged. As a temporary solution you can use a splash form with a custom message.

The way that I've found around this is to use an animated gif.  Load the animated gif as the source for a picture box.  Then hide / show the picture box when the routine kicks off that takes a while.

Telerik, if you want to create a control that can be used as a 'waiting' bar, maybe create a control that can load animated gifs that are designed to match your existing themes.  But then set the control up such that it can also load user-created animated gifs.

Hello Richard,

Thank you for your suggestion for creating such a control. However, currently we do not plan to implement it, because of other priority features and improvements set in our To-Do list. If more people request the same functionality, we will consider increasing its priority.

All the best,
Stefan
