Phone Templates Missing

Hi

Running Win8 Pro, VS2012, WP8 SDK.

I am missing the "Telerik Item" template that is selected in the video linked to on the below page:

I've got the whole of DevCraft installed, what am I missing?

We are still working on our Visual Studio Extensions targeting VS 2012 that import the Telerik templates. We will be releasing them in a month or so.

With the Q3 2012 SP1 release the extensions should be working.

I have the Q3 version but to know see the templates when I follow these steps

If you have installed RadControls, you can easily create the RadWindow UserControl with the Telerik templates - just click Add -> New Item... in the project Context Menu and choose "Telerik Scenario" from the installed templates. In the Scenario Wizard select RadWindow.

I'm not seeing any Design Templates anywhere. Any ideas on how to get these in VS2012?

Hello Todd,

You can have a look at this blog post which explains where the templates should be, i.e. in the Visual Studio wizards. One possible reason that you don't have them is, if you haven't installed RadControls for Windows Phone from our installation wizard. More information about the installation steps is available here. The other option is that you are using the Express edition of Visual Studio. If this is the case, you will have to wait until our next release in June, when we will add the support for the Express edition.
