    Hi,

I am currently using Rad Control for Winforms Q2 and Q3 2013.

I am developing a winform application and trying to use MetroTheme.

MetroTheme has a feel of light green in almost everywhere such as top border of winform border.

I'd like to change this color scheme slightly and create my own style theme. All the style elements should stay the same as MetroTheme except that this light green color should be replaced with my own color like light gray

I tried to use Visual Style Builder and watched some video tutorials but couldn't find the solution.

    Can you help me please?

    Thanks,

    Patrick

    Hi Patrick,

Thank you for contacting Telerik support.

The best approach for this case will be to first extract the predefined themes and then edit the Metro theme. For example you can take the following steps to achieve you goal:
    1. Extract the predefined themes - Loading Predefined Themes
    2. Open the theme that you want to edit in Visual Style Builder.
    3. Change any settings you want (for this case you can edit the repository items in order to apply your color to all elements that are using this items) .
    4. Load the theme in your application - Using custom themes

I hope this will be useful. Should you have further questions, I would be glad to help.

    Regards,
