Cordova 3.4 came out in Feb 2014.  How can I update my project to use the latest version of Cordova?
When  I go to properties and General tab, the Cordova Version drop down only goes as high as 3.2.0.

    Hi Mark,

We plan to update the Cordova version in one of our next releases. We tend to release on every 6-8 weeks so stay tuned.

On a related note it would be interesting to us to understand your need to update to the newest Cordova version. Is there a bug that has been fixed in any of the core plugins? If that's the case there is a way to take the newest version of the plugin source code and use it.

I wanted to test to see if I could get my streaming audio working.  Looking at the cordova fix list, probably nothing in the fix that would help with the issue.  Grasping at straws here...

    Hello Mark,

If you are still looking to use a newer version of the core plugin, you can try updating it manually. Just keep in mind that if the plugin relies on another update in another core plugin, you will need to perform this operation for that other plugin as well.

    1. Turn off the plugin that you want to update from Project Properties -> Plugins.
    2. Get the File Transfer plugin version you need from GitHub.
    3. Add the plugin as a custom plugin.
    4. (Optional) Edit the plugin.xml of the newly added plugin to exclude irrelevant platforms.
    5. Call the plugin functionality from your code.

Again, you might need to update some other plugins as well if your plugin depends on them.

Hello, I came a cross a bug that seems to be resolved in Cordova 3.5, so I'm wondering about when that version can be in AppBuilder. The bug is pretty problematic for us as it stops our users with newest version of Android to choose pictures from the gallery. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-5398

    Thanks

Hello. As you should notice, at Mar 18th, you indicated that the Cordova version will be updated every 6-8 weeks. We are now on Cordova 3.5. Do you have a new estimated update date?

    Thank you!

    Hello Juan Carlos,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Our current plans are to release support for Cordova 3.5 by the end of June.

Further, could you share more details about your need to use the newest version of Cordova? Perhaps, we can find an appropriate solution for it, until the release is out.

    I hope the information helps.
