I'm doing my first app so I'm totally new to this. I'm using Graphite by the way. My app development has gone really well but I've just started getting the error
The connection to the server was unsuccessful (file:///storage/sdcard0/Icenium/com.telerik.Demo1/index,html)

This seems to happen when there I do something that interacts with the hardware.g. take a photo. Also this happened for the first time when I used my app when disconnected from the computer.

I open my app
Press a button in my app to prompt a photo
When I take the photo it "freezes" and after a while I get error

This is Jellybean on a Samsung S3. So far I was really impressed with Icenium but I'm a bit concerned with support. Do you have support like on your other products, the support is one the reason we use Telerik. I've tried deleting the app.

Hi Chris,

This error is returned when your storage is locked for the android system and deployed APK can't unpack. This usually happens when device has SD card and it is mounted as USB storage to the PC. Since you state that the problem surfaced when the phone was disconnected from the computer, can you verify that your SD card is accessible at this time? You can check that by using a File Manager program and try to save/copy a file on it (e.g. image).

On a side note, you can try to build your application in "Release" and check if it works on your device. Use Graphite, right click on your solution in "Project Naviagor", select "Build Settings" and select "Release". Delete the app from the phone before trying to deploy again. This would verify whether the problem is SD Card/ Internal Memory related.

All the best,
Steve

I am having this problem as well.  I can get around it by forcing the app to stop.  Is this issue limited to development and does not occur in release mode?

Hello Dan,

Yes, it should not occur in Release mode.

Hi Laxminarayana,

Can you provide us a sample that will help to reproduce your issue and investigate it further?
Additionally some details of the device and OS you are using would be helpful.
Thanks.
