Question regarding correct licensing of Telerik Ultimate and build servers: we have 3 developers and have 3 copies of Telerik Ultimate purchased, so no problem in licensing when a build is done from a PC.

Simply, if I change to a build server, do I need a separate DevCraft Ultimate license?

Note: on a build server, I can have 2 configurations a) a solution with a normal Telerik install into C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\whatever or b) in my solution I have a \Libraries\Telerik directory where I keep a copy of all my local PC telerik controls, etc. and in using Visual Studio 2010, the solution projects look at the \Libraries\Telerik directory to do the build.

The (b) solution will compile a build properly, again its only a once in a while thing to do a build, so a license is a big deal and expense.

The confusion part of your license agreement is license per developer, which we comply with, I wanted to understand how we may be affected legally if we decide to make a build server.  Yes it would be a separate machine for a build machine.

Hi Michael,

I am closing this thread as a duplicate, as I noticed the other one in the correct product's forum.
