Task App Sync w/ Office365 Home Preview

    I setup a Office365 Home Preview account last night, but I'm still having trouble getting Tasks to sync with it. I'm trying to figure out what server to point Tasks to, but most of the instructions I'm finding are pointing to menus or pages that aren't visible in the Home Preview (as far as I can tell.) Has anyone had any luck syncing this app with this setup?

    On a side note, would it be possible to get SkyDrive syncing instead? Seems like that might alleviate a lot of the sync issues that I've seen people mention here, or at least be easier to setup.

    Thank you for your feedback!

    We do not support  Hotmail/outlook.com synchronization, but Office365 is supported and should work for all type of accounts.

    Could you, please try again to sync, but in the server field enter  https://mailxyz.org/EWS/Exchange.asmx, where https://mailxyz.org should be your server (https://bay002.mail.live.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx in your case).

    Hi,

    I'm having the same kind of problem.  I signed up for an Office365 account JUST so that I could use your Tasks app on both my WP7 and my new surface.

    Following your instructions in the setting section, I've tried both entering

    https://bl2prd0811.outlook.com/owa/?exsvurl=1&realm=office365.com&wa=wsignin1.0 as my server as well as

    https://bl2prd0811.outlook.com/

    Neither works.  I get error (403) Forbidden when I try.

    HELP!!

    I tried this, but now I get a "Synchronization error". Here's the text:

    "Synchronization error

    We're having a problem connecting to your server. Please try again later.

    Technical error is: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

    Is there a way to access a log or other info that I could send you that might be more helpful in resolving the issue?

    Hi Joshua,

    Microsoft Office 365 (Plan P1) are supported. I, myself, created a test “Small Business” account and managed to sync successfully both on WP7 and WP8 devices. This is the way I input my credentials:

    Email: test@taskstest0.onmicrosoft.com

    Username: test@taskstest0.onmicrosoft.com

    Password: ************

    Domain: taskstest0.onmicrosoft.com

    Server: https://db3prd0710.outlook.com/

    On important thing that needs mentioning is that you first need to add this account to the phone accounts (Settings > email+accounts > add account > Outlook) and then try using it in Tasks.

    Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

    As for SkyDrive synchronization, it is in our plans but for the moment I cannot bind to a specific release date.
