Somehow I managed to get the line numbers that you see while stepping through code out of synch with the actual line numbers. For example, I see lines 1-15 in the debug window while my code is paused at line 150.

Also, in the file 'Device_Simulator_1.png' that I attached you see that the current line of the debugger is before the breakpoint while it is actually on the line where I put the breakpoint.

Image 'Device_Simulator_2.png' shows an image that is somehow distorted. It seems that lines are passing through the text 'application.js'.

Debugging in the simulator and the simulator itself is really annoying at the moment. My productivity has gone down with these issues.

I know (from other recent postings by Icenium) that you are currently working hard on these issues, but I have to say that version 1.6 (despite all new functionality) is not the best version you have delivered.

I have attached to this message the problem that I described in my initial post. The debugger shows that I am at the first few lines (4-9) but I am actually on line 180.

Hello JD,

The problems you report look quite strange. There is the possibility that some local cache didn't get flushed. Can you try the following.

1. Close Graphite.
2. Navigate to %TEMP%\IceDeviceSimulator and delete all of its contents.
3. Start Graphite and try the simulator debugging tools.

If you still stumble upon some of those issues, can you try to find some steps to reproduce them. Hope this helps.

Hello Deyan,

Unfortunately, after doing that I can't do anything anymore in the simulator. As soon as I start the simulator and open up the debug console it stops working.

Same behaviour when I change from iPhone to Android phone emulator.

I have had nothing but issues with the 1.6 simulator, I hope a new version is coming very soon.

Hello,

Does this happen with a specific project of yours only or with any project? I.e. if you create a new Kendo UI Mobile project and open the simulator, then the debugger - do you observe the same behavior? In case it is a specific project it could be triggered some specific action - say setting a breakpoint in the debugger and reloading or something like this. We've identified a similar problem that manifests from time to time and we are preparing a fix for it.
However judging from your description you experience this issue every time you open the debugger - can you confirm this?

Thanks for the collaboration in advance.

Deyan,

I am experiencing this with my 'Hob......2' project. First (right after the June 25th update) I noticed that click events were not firing in listviews in the simulator. Then I found that after changing the Kendo UI version to a more recent version did repair that. Maybe it is that this is when the issues started.

Other projects seem to work fine. My 'K1ckstart3r for Kickstarter' project seems not to have these problem, but there still the click events do no fire in the simulator in a listview.

Thank you for your prompt replies, it is much appreciated!

Hey JD,

We are going to provide a fix for both the click events and the freeze in the Simulator till the end of this week. Please accept our apologies and thank you very much for reporting these issues to us.
