Hello Sivakumar,
When the Empty Color Button is clicked, the color that is displayed in the preview area is white. Please clarify how you have configured the RadColorPicker in order to display a black color as empty color.
As for the functionality you requested, could you elaborate how should the transparent control be applied and how to indicate that the current color is transparent so that I can help you achieve it if possible?
All the best,

Hey Slav,
I have a similar problem. I'm storing the 'empty' colour in our DB, then when I reload the colour picker with the empty colour (rgba(0,0,0,0)) the control seems to automatically set white as the selected colour. If I then resend the page to be saved, 'white' is saved to the DB. How can I stop the control from setting white as the default? I can't really do this in code as I can't tell if the user has deliberately set white or not.

Hello Don,
It is a known issue that when a blank color is set in the SelectedColor property of RadColorPicker, the control indicates that a white color is selected, however the actual selected color should be blank, unless you change it manually. I have attached a page that demonstrates this. Please check it and let me know if it matches your scenario and if I have missed something.
Also, note that the color you have mentioned is not empty, but black. Please clarify which of the two values you set in the color picker.
