Restrict TFS integration to specific Area Path(s)?

I would like to integrate TeamPulse with an existing TFS project. The only problem is, the existing TFS project is HUGE and incorporates a collection spanning multiple smaller projects. Is there a way to specify certain TFS area path(s) so that synchronizing only is scoped to this smaller set of data?

I would like to avoid creating a new TFS project if possible.
