I open a RadAlert server-side but it won't close when you click the OK button, at least in IE 9. It does in Firefox so maybe it's a browser js implemenation issue. This post(http://www.telerik.com/forums/radalert-won-t-close-with-ok-in-ie) didn't provide any help.

I'm using version 2014.1.403.45 of the Telerik.Web.UI

Any ideas?

Hi Brad,

We have had a few reports with such behavior, yet we have never been able to observe it in order to debug it, even with live sites provided by clients. Thus, it is likely that something in the concrete IE instance went wrong, so I can suggest the following ideas:

  • remove plugins/addons, restart the machine and see if this fixes the problem
  • clear the browser cache
  • make sure there are no script errors in IE (e.g., ones that are not there in Firefox)

Additionally, I can suggest you try the following:

  • switch to the Lightweight render mode of the RadWindows and RadWindowManagers on the rendered page, because they render button elements and not anchor elements for the OK button
  • try adding about:blank to the trusted sites in IE. This was reported to fix the same problem by a client once.

I hope at least one of these ideas will help.
