Apple has introduced a breaking change in its latest update to iTunes Connect which affects all AppBuilder users. You cannot publish any builds created with AppBuilder to the App Store via AppBuilder or manually via the Application Loader.
Unfortunately, at this stage there is no known workaround. Nevertheless, the AppBuilder team is working on providing a fix with the upcoming release, planned for the second week of September 2014.

UPDATE: We have identified a workaround for the App Store publishing matter. Here it is:
- Verify that you have configured the CFBundleShortVersionString key in your Info.plist.
For more information, see Missing the required key: CFBundleShortVersionString. - Run the Publish wizard and rebuild your app.
- Download your application package.
- On an OS X system, upload the application package via Application Loader.
For more information, see Using Application Loader.
Note that, after the upload completes, you need to submit your app for review from iTunes Connect. Because of an issue with iTunes Connect and legacy binary statuses, if your app record is in the Waiting for Upload state, you will not be able to submit it for review and proceed with the publishing process.

For more information, check the release notes. Please, note that if you have modified your CFBundleShortVersionString key, you might need to update your Info.plist again.

- Open an incognito browsing session.
- Navigate to https://platform.telerik.com/#workspaces and log in with your credentials.
- Then, in the same browser navigate to https://devapp.icenium.com/Mist/?tap=off. This is a copy of the AppBuilder integrated cloud environment, that has the fixes for the publish feature applied to it.
- Try to publish your application from there.
We expect that you should be able to publish successfully from this environment. However, if error occurs please provide the support team with a Fiddler log for the whole process in a separate support ticket. Note that, the support ticket is strictly confidential and as a private communication channel, it is save to send your Fiddler logs there. Any other communication channels (e.g. Forums) could lead to sensitive information leak and we do not recommend them.
