Hi! We would like to distinguish between internal usage of our application (QA / Sales / Support) and usage by our customers. Therefore we would need a filter which will either include only all the IPs for our company's network or will exclude them. In addition we need to be able to use this filter together with the build number filter. I've tried to use IP filter but it allows only 5 IPs and does not work will build #. Please find the list of IPs below: 211.25.222.146/30 74.217.148.5/26 203.92.59.66 125.16.157.50 121.242.14.67 125.20.3.101 12.52.176.5 12.1.229.141 207.47.100.214/26 92.87.192.98 212.146.94.66 219.143.228.146 64.60.234.6 14.140.244.70 86.188.209.18/28 74.217.101.71/27 202.32.195.146/29 210.148.222.42/29 65.127.193.130/27 216.23.154.50/28 66.77.12.12/25 202.122.149.215/26 65.114.129.122/30 67.130.37.222/28 125.17.153.162/28 180.151.32.130/28 12.68.44.245/27 213.41.122.186/29 50.43.73.138 65.113.102.242/29 208.46.7.66/27 63.237.188.250/29 205.168.23.154/29 193.120.49.194/30 109.71.175.80 193.120.165.218 67.131.103.218/29 203.145.176.34/28 202.56.254.18/29 81.218.74.226/29 12.191.85.18

Hi Slvov We have a general feature build into our system that can automatically "hide" data from internal usage. This setting can be found by going into the settings for the individual product and at the bottom you can configure a list of IP addresses that should be considered internal. You can configure more than 5 items and you can even upload a list of IP addresses instead of having to enter them manually. Data from these internal addresses are hidden by default and will not be included in the data that is visualized by default within our web client. If you are particularly interested in this hidden data, it can be accessed using the Advanced Query feature. One thing to note is that we do not currently support range specification on the IP address, but we do allow for simple wildcard (*) matching. Hope this helps. As always we are happy to receive comments and feedback on our service, so feel free to keep in touch Best regards Soren EQATEC Team

Soren, It seems I am doing something wrongly, since I still get the data from internal use. I've inserted all the IPs that I got from our IT department under product "IxLoad" in my account, but I still see usage reports from unreleased products. What it would help me if you can give me the IPs from which these are coming from: 1) All the messages in the "Log Messages" section - we had removed log message reporting from the shipped release. 2) All the versions other then 6.10.0.1253 - this is the version we shipped. Could you please check what's going on? Thanks again Sergey

Hi Sergey I've looked a bit closer at our raw data and for the last 5 days and attached a list of IP addresses that have reported data for non-6.10.0.1253 into our system. I have no record of when you updated the product filter, but it seems like the number of items caught in the product filter decreases 5 days ago, so I'm guessing that is when you updated it. Hope this helps. I'll be happy to assist further if need be, just let me know Best regards Soren EQATEC Team

Soren, I've inserted 74.217.148.5 to the list of filtered IPs, but I still see usages coming from this IP ? 218 today. Can you please check if I am doing something wrong and also purge usage from this IP from the database if possible? Hi Sergey I have just confirmed that your product filter is indeed working but our data extraction is actually playing tricks on you. When you apply an IP filter we actually allow you to also retrieve internal data were as when you apply e.g. a version filter we do not retrieve internal data. So in your case you are seeing data that has been marked as internal. I've looked at our raw data and all data from 74.217.148.5 has been marked as internal for the last 12 days. The decision to actually return internal data might seem a bit confusion, I know, but the thinking has been that when you apply such a specific filter, namely IP, InstallationID or CookieID filter, you are looking for specific issues and it is no longer important if data was marked as internal or not. Hope this help. If you have further questions I'll be happy to elaborate on these points Best regards Soren EQATEC Team

Soren, Sorry for bothering you again, but it does not make too much sense to me J , but let me describe the steps: Our major dev offices are in Bucharest, Romania / Calabasas, CA, US / Kolkutta India (I think your system identifies them as Bragadiru, Romania and Woodland Hills, CA) We released only few builds to the customers: 6.10.0.1253 and few other betas to very few customers. Now when I logged in to the portal today I see bunch of usages in the last few days from Woodland Hills, CA / Romania and also tons of usage reports from 6.20.* builds. Is there is a bug or I am doing something wrong? May be we can speak on the phone tomorrow morning: ......................................................................................................................................... Hi Sergey I'm a little pressed for time today but perhaps we could schedule a time tomorrow (Wednesday) were we can have a conversation on the phone, potentially do some screensharing and try figuring out where the confusion arises. We have offices in Copenhagen and are on CET time so perhaps you could send a suggestion for a timeslot in the morning (I'm available between 9.30 and 13). You can contact me directly on sej@eqatec.com Hoping to hear from you Best regards Soren EQATEC Team
