I'm trying to use RadDiagnostics in my application but what I'm finding is that when an exception occurs and the RadDiagnostics MessageBox is displayed, the button text and borders are white, but the rest of the text in the MessageBox is black and therefore unreadable. I've attached a screenshot showing this. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known issue?

Hi Ryan,

We are currently not aware of similar issues as we use RadDiagnostics in our own apps and everything works as expected.

Could you please share some further details on your scenario like whether you have set explicitly the Foreground color of your page or possibly the root frame? If yes, this could lead to this behavior.

After checking this and if the issue persists, we would kindly like to ask you to send us a sample where we can see this behavior and thus be able to help you out.

You will have to open a new support ticket in order to be able to do that.

Thanks for your time.

Kind regards,

Thanks for the reply! Looks like you were right(ish). While I am not explicitly setting a Foreground (or any other properties) on the root frame, I am using TransitionFrame from the Silverlight Toolkit for Windows Phone rather than the default PhoneApplicationFrame. It seems I can fix the issue by explicitly setting the Foreground, FontFamily, etc. on the TransitionFrame instance, but it doesn't seem like I should have to do this. Is this a bug in TransitionFrame or in RadDiagnostics?

Hi Ryan,

I believe this is related to the Toolkit's transition frame. We are not setting any explicit foreground collors in the message box to make it black. Also, we have not had any other feedback from our customers for the same behavior so I believe this comes from the transition frame.

You can try replacing the transition frame with our RadPhoneApplicationFrame or simply remove the Toolkit's one to test whether the behavior will change.

Let us know if we can further assist you.
