Just wondering if anyone has been successful in getting an OpenAccess backed WCF RIA service consumed by LightSwitch to actually be able to do an update?
The current release throws an error that has been previously listed, ie Value cannot be null. Parameter name: sourceMemberNames.
The internal build throws a different error to the effect that its attempting to save an unmanaged object - dont have the actual error in front of me atm.
Trying to do an evaluation of LightSwitch and am having difficulty in actually getting it to update to Oracle either directly or through a WCF RIA service.
Thanks,
Andreas

Are you using the latest release of LightSwitch? There has been a known issue with their latest release and unfortunately OpenAccess will not work with it.

Check out the latest stable build of Telerik OpenAccess ORM. Download it and benefit from our new Project Templates.
Thanks for the reply.
To my knowledge it is the latest version of LS, ie it isn't a beta or release candidate.

I am about to start using Lightswitch and OpenAccess but I noticed this post. Is this still an issue?
Thanks

Unfortunately the issue is still present. We will do our utmost to fix the problem for the Q3 release that is scheduled for mid of November.
