Hello Zhou,

Please check the Understanding Pagination article (Paging and Keep Together). Then test setting the KeepTogether property of the section the Table item and the Table item's groups.

I hope the above information is helpful.

Hi,

I have such problem:

in my small report, I have sections:
ReportHeaderSection
and
DetailSection

Both the section have KeepTogether=false

In Details I have 1 table, with grouping1 and parent grouping2.
For both the grouping, in groupSection, KeepTogether=false

For table keepTogether=false

The problem is, the group1, works as if KeepTogether would be set to true:-(
So, if details from group1 from 1 member would exceed the current page, it is moved to next page, where it fit well. So I have much empty places, which I don't wont to have.

Please help

Jola

Hello Jola,

The paging mechanism is not designed to work with Table item's rows not fitting in the available space of a single physical page. Please vote for the Nested tables should not be kept together feature request entry to raise the priority of the task. Features are selected and planned for releases based on the demand for them.

To avoid the issue, redesign the report to remove the Table item and use the report section's directly.

Stef
