Hi Sreeram,

Thank you for your feedback. We need some more information about your environment. What profiler do you use (sampling, tracing, etc.)? Do you use Windows XP? If that is the case can you check if there if %temp%\Telerik\JustFolder folder. Each time when you start a new profiling session you should be able to see a new GUID-named folder that contains growing files. Can you confirm this?

Hello Mike,

I am testing this on Windows XP Tablet PC edition (Service pack 3).

Yes, there are GUID folders created in C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Telerik\JustTrace\ folder.

The error occurs for both Sampling and Tracing Profiles.

Thanks

Hi - I am experiencing the same issue. I am unable to run any of the trace's & get exactly the same error (using VS 2008)

I am running XP Pro SP3  & can see a number of temp GUID directories %temp%\Telerik\JustTrace

Thanks

Simon

Thanks for the update.

I have now been able to run a Sampling profile but not consistently. In some cases the application doesn't start; the JustTrace Trace Data Screen appears but the application doesn't seem to start (it's possible that if I wait long enough it will, but I think several minutes is long enough to wait before giving up).

On the cases where it does start, it seems to be on a fresh Visual Studio load / fresh rebuild of my application. I've never managed to run the profiler a second time without it crashing Visual Studio.

If there is any other details I can provide, please let me know.

Regards

Simon
