Hi,

I am using the grid control in various sites and I wanted to migrate an old ASP.NET 2.0 site which uses gridviews to add data to a database. I was wondering if the behaviour the old gridview gives me could be mimiced in the telerik mvc grids? In that can the grid be:

1) Always in edit mode. i.e. drop downs, textboxes always shown rather than read only fields when loaded
2) Can all rows be show as being edited

If so how would this data then be submitted to the controller? i.e. you would need to submit all the rows of form items.

If it is not possible to have all rows in edit mode and submitted, it is possible to submit the whole grid to parse over in the controller?

Thanks for any help
Colin

I am also curious if this is possible, as I'm trying to accomplish the same task.

We have a data entry team that would love to be able to edit all records at once, and just tab from field to field with their keyboard.

Looks like it is not possible.

There is a feature request in place already. Please vote up:
