Icenium only seems to support > IOS 4.3, so that means no support for the iPhone 3g, but the iPhone 3gs is supported. Are there technical reasons why the iPhone 3g with ios 4.2.1 cant/wont work?

Hi Mat-Moo,
Thank you for checking out Icenium.
We've decided to support only armv7 devices. We've reckoned that when we release version 1, the first two iPhone will not be supported by Apple.
In order to support both armv6 and armv7 we had to build much more complicated infrastructure and would have slowed our initial release. Our feature list is very much driven by our customers demands. Thus if demand for support of iPhone 3G and earlier grows we'll surely implement it.
Do you have clients requiring support of older iOS version and phones?

Hello Mat-Moo,
I'm sorry you can't use your old iPhone 3G to test your apps built with Icenium, but as Evgeni said, we can't build apps targeting the older architecture because Xcode 4.5 has no support for armv6 devices as compilation targets and Xcode 4.5 is what our infrastructure is based on.
What's more, recent Cordova versions such as 2.1+ have dropped support for the armv6 architecture in order to take advantage of compiler features and optimizations in newer Xcode versions.
All the best,
