Hi! After looking in the documentation, I did not find how to make interactives parameters
in the Report Designer. Let’s say I create a report about services and I want a
list of services. The client will find the report in Report server (no code)
and will select the service or the services who interest him. How can I do
that?

Thanks for your help

Still lost. I read:

"Parameter area
When at least one report parameter has its Visible property turned on, a parameter area is shown as part of the report viewer. This helps the report developer to easily provide input method for the end users. Based on the settings of the parameters, a suitable editor UI is created. Parameter layout on the parameter area is formatted automatically. "

Where is the "parameter area"? In the designer I see nothing. If I Preview I have an error because the value is not set on the parameter.

Hello Richard,

Report parameters can be configured in the ReportParameter Collection Editor and they need to be visible in order to be shown in the parameters area: screenshot.
The parameters area will be positioned above the report and may have different UI depending on the used Report Designer or the used Report Viewer: screenshot.

In case you see a warning message that the required parameters do not have values you need to provide default values for them or set their AllowNull and AllowBlank properties to True.
