Hi,
We've already planned to purchase professional version of Icenium but we are facing this problem.
We are using trial version of Icenium Graphite and we are facing Icenium Graphite crashing issue since the day we've started using it.
It gets crashed 5-6 times a day and today it is not even allowing us to open our project.
So how can you all expect us to purchase license version of Icenium?
Please solve this issue so we can continue our development and can think of purchasing license version.

Hi,

Sorry to hear you are experiencing such kind of problems. We've just pushed a new update of the product and you may have experienced a issue with partial update. Here is a simple procedure that you can follow to recover if that's the case:

  1. Uninstall Graphite.
  2. Navigate to %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Apps  (e.g. C:\users\Username\AppData\Local\Apps) and delete the 2.0 folder.
  3. Navigate to %localappdata%\Telerik\BlackDragon\Cache  (e.g. C:\users\Username\AppData\Local\Telerik\BlackDragon\Cache) and delete the contents of this folder.
  4. Install and run Icenium Graphite.

If you continue to have problems, please send us the contents of the Logs folder %localappdata%\Telerik\BlackDragon\Logs to see if they would show any problem.

Judging from your post you are reporting that Graphite was crashing every day even before today's update. We haven't received such kind of reports. If this happens again please send us the log files mentioned above so that we can investigate what's happening on your end.

Again please accept our deepest apologies for any inconvenience we've caused. If you encounter any problems in the future, don't hesitate to contact us again.

Yeah, I raised a similar concern (http://www.icenium.com/resources/forums/icenium-graphite-/viability-of-cloud-based-development).

I have not been experiencing decent availability of the service, be that due to the service itself or the ability to use it through Graphite. I'm questioning the Telerik process around change management  - but I'm happy with the responsiveness to issues.

I wanted to buy the annual subscription, but currently winging it month to month until I can get a better read on how this will play out. Boss isn't happy at this stage, but I'm hanging in there to see if I can make it work given that I championed the idea of this cloud based approach (In theory, its great)
