To generate and code sign the IPA in Icenium, you need a certificate and provisioning profile from the iOS Developer Program. To get those, you need to register an Apple ID in the Developer Program. The Apple ID is used to access Apple services, including but not limited to App Store.

Alternatively, for testing purposes, you can deploy your applications in Icenium Ion. To deploy in Ion, you do not need certificates, provisioning profiles, or Apple ID. However, this is a testing and not a distribution utility and you cannot publish your app in or from Ion.
