How to display wait cursor over pie-chart.

I would like to ask if there are any examples for the following: I wish to display something like a loading panel or a wait cursor when  retrieving data from the database and rendering pie chart.

You can have a look at the following help article, which demonstrates how to render a loading overlay for the chart:

Of course, you can further modify the example, if you need to satisfy additional requirements.
