In R1 2017, the Spreadsheet widget will support customization of its chrome – the developer will be able to configure the context menu of the widget. We are also looking into supporting dynamic number of rows as well as some of the popular requests in our UserVoice portal.
The two new themes produced for Kendo UI for Angular 2, Default and Bootstrap 4, will be integrated and available for UI for ASP.NET MVC, too.
The Q1 2017 release will fully support jQuery 3 and the Promises/A+ change introduced.
The current UI for ASP.NET MVC documentation shares space with its client-side counterpart – Kendo UI. Within this release, it will be moved to a separate resource, dedicated specifically to the ASP.NET MVC platform.
UI for ASP.NET MVC 2016 R3 will be the last release to support Internet Explorer 8. Just like jQuery 3, the R1 2017 release will support IE 9+.
Just like before, you can find the full (and ever updating) list of the tasks and bugs we are working on in the Kendo UI GitHub repository.
