Hi,
I installed this morning the latest version of the Telerik Extensions (2010-3-1110)
Now the grid is giving me problems in Chrome and FF.
If I do a group by in IE8 it's no problem but in Chrome and FF the View is not displaying correctly (see picture enclosed).
This we didn't have it in the version before.
What also seems not to work in our project is the re-order of the columns.
It gives me an out of memory error in jquery1.4.2.js file?

Does anyone experience this also?

Regards,
Gerard

Hi Gerard Eikelboom,

This is now a known issue. Can you reproduce it in our online examples?

Hi Atanas,

I tried to repoduce it in the online demos but no suc6.
Do you have an idea when we can have a fix for this?
We need to deliver a new version of the project 1st Dec. So if it's not fixed before we have to restore the old version of telerik.

Gerard

Hi Gerard Eikelboom,

We cannot provide a fix until we have a case which reproduces the problem. Perhaps you can provide a sample project or a live url where we can observe this JavaScript error.

Hi Atanas,

About the js error. I will dig further to see if we can solve it here otherwise I will let you know.
But what about the Browser issue and grouping. You said it's a known issue.
Do you have a solution for that?

Regards,
Gerard

Hi Gerard Eikelboom,

I've made a mistake. I meant it is noT a known issue instead of it is noW a known issue. I am pretty sure the JavaScript error is causing the other problem. Once we have a case we will investigate and see what the problem is. I hope you can provide one.

Are there any updates on this issue? We are using the latest control version and have still the same problem with out of memory exceptions using jQuery 1.4.2 and also those graphic glitches as the pre-poster reported.

We upgraded to jQuery 1.4.4 which solved the issue. We still have to check if there are any other problems related to Q3 and jQuery 1.4.4. Are there any experiences yet if it works properly?

Hello Ulrich Witschaß,

The current official version supports jquery 1.4.3 and is not fully tested with jQuery 1.4.4. Still we are not aware of any issues with jQuery 1.4.4 and will most probably update to that version with the first official service pack.
