Hi,

This might seem like a silly one but how do you submit the binary to apple for approval when you don't own a Mac seeing as there is no http option from the apple dev website and they pulled the option from iTunes.

The Apple approval process is horrendous as it is but is there anyway Icenium can do this? You seem to need an app store provisioning file to build the iOS app in release, to get that file Apple must approve the binary.

I found a 3rd party website that acts as a go between but I don't want to pass the account details on to a 3rd party unless it's a technology provider like Telerik.

I'm quite flabbergasted at how convoluted the process is just to get the dev build on to the handset despite Telerik doing their best to ease the process, the release build seems to be the stuff of nightmares.

I wish out next corporate phone provider would be Android based not iOS but it's not my decision and management love iPhones, if only they knew how horrible and time consuming a process it is to get corporate software for internal company use only onto the handsets.

If anyone has any bright ideas on this one this please let me know if there is a better way, App Store is a massive pain as the product is for company use only but could be more than 100 users.

Thanks,
Norman.

Hi Norman,

Unfortunately there isn't an easy solution to this problem. We're working to enable Icenium to directly upload the package it builds to iTunes Connect for you, but this functionality will take a couple of months to implement.

Hi Yavor,

Thanks for getting back. I'd say that would be a big plus point for Icenium as it already takes you through 90% of the process.

Still can't believe you can only do this with a mac :)

Thanks,
Norman.

To be quite frank, without this functionality, Icenium is largely useless.  I have an iOs app that I am about to begin testing on now.  Without this functionality, or a workaround for using a Mac that does not have Xcode installed, there is no way for me to deploy my app.  Correct?

Hello Norman,

we working hard on providing the most flawless and complete solution for building HTML5 mobile story from end to end.

That said we are working on a solution to upload the application to iTunes Connect without a Mac. Something many considered not possible so far. So look forward for our upcoming releases.

All the best,

Hi Jordan,

I think you might have been meaning Brian not me.

I hope you guys do implement this though, in the interim we just support the web app hosted in IIS for iOS & Blackberry but that's pretty limiting.

Thanks for keeping us updated.

Norman.

Hi,

I have created an app, I would like to publish it to Apple App Store. I will create a developer account (I had it in the past and is expired now), can someone help to publish my app please... I really don't understand the whole process.

Thanks.
