Hi Vitaliy,

Similar behavior could occur when some domain classes are spread though multiple diagrams (by using the Multiple Diagrams feature) and if there is not a common diagram that holds all classes.

If this is the case, as a workaround you could generate all classes in a single diagram, and the manually copy them (but not move them) in separate diagrams. Ways to organize classes in different diagrams is detailed in this documentation article.

Could you please confirm that this is the case on your side? If it is not, could you please describe in more detail how to reproduce this issue? Could you let us know if you use any other Visual Designer features?

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Boyan

I see...
Alternatively, I can simply delete the entity from the diagram, and place it back from the tables.
Or find two more methods :-)

I thought, in the term of telerik data access development, it looks strangely so our diagrams somehow interact.
Every entity as a visible element on the diagram (here) should not affect on any entity of another diagram.
So, I don't understand why would I need  to copy an entity?
What will be difference from creating a new entity from the table? Just so I will copy the entity colors maybe?
It definitely not so much important to introduce this strange paradigm.
Maybe you can move all the code generation attributes to the table class itself, that hardly would be different cross the project?
The entities will be just nice looking boxes than...

Regarding the bug....
Maybe you can add in the entity context menu in the designer an items so we could fix selected entities?
Something like 'Reorder entities'. It could really reorder them (and this is good for drawing them too) and will just recreate the entities from the table.

If my suggestions looks interesting, pleases froward them ^^^^^

Hi Vitaliy,

Thank you for your interest in our product and the additional information you provided.

This issue is in fact caused by the some internal specifics of how Telerik Data Access interacts with the Visual Studio integration. Please that this issue is not yet scheduled so I cannot give you an exact time-frame of when it will be fixed but I would like to assure you that I have added this thread to out bug tracking system so your suggestions and recommendation will be take into consideration when the issue is addressed.

Also please note that while there could be several approaches to overcome this issue, the one that I suggested in my previous post should work persistently in any case.

Do not hesitate to contact us with any further comments or questions.

Boyan
