When I view the editor in my iPad it's disabled?  Should this work on the iPad?

Thanks,

Hi MGrassman,

In Mobile Safari, the contentEditable attribute (or, respectively, the designMode) does not work -- and since this attribute is critical to rich-text editing, we cannot do a lot with the editor. Currently, our fallback is to a textarea with no toolbar actions  -- we consider enabling the buttons to insert tags into it, but without the attribute, our hands are practically tied.

Hello Jeremy,

There is still no support for contentEditable in mobile Safari, so there is no update in the component.

It works ok with DevExpress. How where they able to get around whatever thing that is holidng you guys back? We are trying to use Telerik to develop a web app but if this critical control does not work in Safari then we have to utilize something else.

Hello Michael,

The latest internal build works in iOS5, where the contentEditable property is properly working. The change will be included in the service pack.
