Hi MGrassman,
In Mobile Safari, the contentEditable attribute (or, respectively, the designMode) does not work -- and since this attribute is critical to rich-text editing, we cannot do a lot with the editor. Currently, our fallback is to a textarea with no toolbar actions -- we consider enabling the buttons to insert tags into it, but without the attribute, our hands are practically tied.

There is still no support for contentEditable in mobile Safari, so there is no update in the component.

Hello Michael,

The latest internal build works in iOS5, where the contentEditable property is properly working. The change will be included in the service pack.
