I have upgraded to 2011.2.712 from 2011.1.502. Now the Editor is disabled. It does not show any content any more, no buttons is clickable. It simply does not work.

There have been two major releases since the 2011.2.712 release. Please consider upgrading to the latest release, as there have been numerous fixes during the last 6 months (and it is quite likely that the issue that you are experiencing has been fixed too).
