Issues are related to layout on the page. I had nothing attributing the height before in WP7, but now I do in wp8 assemblies. I can adjust the height which I wasn't doing before and then I have to adjust margins to move the entire control up to align it correctly.

We have not been able to reproduce this issue on our side.
Please make sure that you have correctly updated the Telerik References to point to the Windows Phone 8 build after upgrading your projects.

Yep did that and you can see my response that is probably part of the problem. IN WP8 autocomplete control forum.
