Hello!

i need an information:

is it possible create a dataset which we can connect to two different database? (oracle and sqlserver)

if it's not possible, is there another way to do that, e.g. changing the dataset in runtime?

best wishes,

Hello Martini Luca,
I am not sure what you mean with dataset.

With OpenAccess you can implement an object model and map the same model to various backends. The forward mapping (class to schema) capabilities of OpenAccess allows you, without any change, to generate a sql server and an oracle schema out of the same model. And during runtime you can switch the backend and you even can connect to an sql server and an oracle server at the same time with the same persistent model.

Best wishes,
