We are trying to setup our application to use the full screen and allow us to change the color of the status bar by virtue of being full screen.

Our understanding was the IOS 7 applications were full screen by default. When setting the status bar style to default under the project setting, our application still sits under the status bar.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Andrew,

The translucent status bar is the default status bar option in iOS 7 if you compile your application using the new version of Xcode 5. However currently Icenium uses Xcode 4 for compiling your application in the cloud and this defaults the status bar to its iOS 6 behavior. We plan to upgrade the Icenium build infrastructure for one of our upcoming releases so stay tuned for our future updates.

Hi,

Any news on the xcode 5 update. We are looking to release into the app store in 2 weeks time and would like our application to feature the new keyboard style and the full screen application.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hello Andrew,

Such update requires thorough testing on our end and we cannot really engage with a date, but we would do our best to upgrade the Icenium build infrastructure for the upcoming release in mid November.

Please excuse us for the temporary inconvenience.
