Currently if I set the active build configuration to Release and then close App Builder for the day and come back in, it defaults back to the Debug config. Ideally, I would prefer this to be set to what I last set it as. In addition to this, it would also be beneficial to have the ability to alter this setting when you actual Build the app. Just displaying the current configuration doesn't help, without being able to change it during the actual build of the .apk/.ipa.

Hello Paul,

Thanks for your feedback.

Changing the active build configuration during build time has already been implemented in the in-browser client (the LiveSync toggle in the Build wizard) and the command-line interface (the --no-livesync switch). We have put it on our roadmap for the extension for Visual Studio and the Windows client as well.

We have logged persisting the active build setting per project for the Windows client and the VS extension for fixing in a future release. Thank you!
