Camera control for Silverlight???

    Perhaps someone is more informed than I concerning when Microsoft will finally add a camera / microphone control to silverlight?
    Is Telerik ever moving in that direction?

    I need to capture camera and microphone input to upload to a server in real time - and I'm still using Flash because it seems that Microsoft has no competing answer... I keep waiting and hoping...

    So if anyone has any idea, please let me know. Thanks.

    Hello Chris,

    We are not working in this direction since the functionality you inquire about is rather low level and should be provided by the Silverlight platform. We are not allowed to fiddle with the inner workings of Silverlight and I believe Microsoft will add support for microphones/cameras sooner than later.

    Chris, now that you have heard the announcement of SL4 support for WebCam, based on your experience with Flash ansd WebCam, what are your thoughts now?
