Hi,

when i build it give me the error "splashscreen.9.png malformed", the 9patch i'm using is the same i used in oldest version, and before that was building.

i've attached the splashscreen, it's generated using the "draw 9-patch" tool from the android sdk

Hi Appmasters,

Thank you for reporting this and sharing your 9patch image with us. Thanks to it, we found an issue in the AppBuilder Windows and Visual Studio Extension clients. It seems that, after import from the project's properties Assets page, the 9patch image is being malformed. This is now logged and it should be fixed for the upcoming release. As a workaround, you can follow one of the following workaround:
  • Import the 9patch image from the AppBuilder In-Browser client, as the issue is not present there. To do this, open your project in the AppBuilder In-Browser client, navigate to Properties > Assets > Android and import the 9patch image in the (nodpi) field at the bottom of the page. This will upload the correct image on our server and will allow you to build for Android once again. After that, you can continue working in the AppBuilder Windows client.
  • Change the image under App_resources/Android/drawable-nodpi/ manually. To do this, open your project in the preferred AppBuilder client and replace the splashscreen.9.png file under App_resources/Android/drawable-nodpi/ with the one attached to your message. Then, try building the project again.

I hope this helps.

As a small token of gratitude for reporting the issue, I have update your Telerik points.
