When using a code template and tabbing between the placeholder, if you keep tabbing will replace my text back the initial V1 V2 placeholders.

Using version Q1 2011 SP1 (2011.1.228.0).

Hello Ben,

Thanks for getting back to us on that problem.

I seem to be unable to reproduce it, though. There has to be something specific in your environment that causes it. Does it happen for you every time? Could you create a small sample project that demonstrates this issue and send it over to us?

All the best,

Hello Ben,

Ah, I think I know what the problem is. You are pressing TAB the second time you go over the placeholders, right? TAB would pick up the currently selected entry in the template intellisense window and move the focus to the next placeholder.

We apparently should not be showing the intellisense if we have no real suggestion to make there. The way it is now you have to press ESC first to hide it and then TAB to move to the next placeholder. That's fairly far away from a smooth workflow.

So, please, let me know whether you are movign around with TAB when that happens and I'll create an issue on our internal tracking system to fix that problem.

Greetings,
