Hi, is it possible to have different colors for each bar in a single series. If possible, can i get an example of how i can do that. The docs kinda show how to do that for two different series from the way i understand.

    Thanks

    Hi Takudzwa,

    Thanks for writing.
Currently our palettes apply one color per series with the exception of the pie series which can have a unique color for each data point.
Currently, to show different colors for each bar you need to have a separate series with one data point. This is a drawback in our chart which will be addressed in a future release.

Please write again if you have more questions.

    When will that be addressed.

    That is utterly crap.

Yet again these controls are tripping us up.

    Hello Norman,

We agree that implementing such functionality for the BarSeries of the Chart control will be of great help for different kind of scenarios. Because of that we have decided to raise the priority of this feature. You could track its status on the following link:
    https://feedback.telerik.com/Project/168/Feedback/Details/192414-chart-point-palette-mode-for-bar-series

We will do our best to introduce it with one of our next future releases. In the meantime if you have any additional questions or concerns regarding Telerik controls, please do not hesitate to contact us.
