Hi,
While creating sample application through ICENIUM, I don't have the facility to set the LOGO and the name 'ICENIUM' is appearing prior to the app load, how can we set / fix these things, as I am going to develop business apps further,
Does the paid versions (now) has these facilities?

Hi Ananda,
You can change both the application icon and splash screen, from the project properties, see Project Properties for Android Devices. For iOS, see the article below it.
Currently Icenium is still free to use until May and it is fully functional.
All the best,
Steve

Thanks for your response,
But the facility that you're telling is in Graphite version, but is there is anyway to obtain this facility in the MIST version?

Thanks, it works, and one more question, while uploading the images for logo and the splash screen, sometimes the publish wizard throws error on that, may I know what are the steps need to be followed for uploading the images?

Hi Ananda,
Mist is using the standard browser file dialog for you to select the desired images for the splash screen and icons. In this line of thoughts, can you share which wizard do you refer to and what is the error you get? What is the format of the image you're trying to upload and what is its size?
Kind regards,
Steve

Hi Filip,
Android: You'll need to edit your app's AndroidManifest.xml file and change the value of the android:label attribute in the <application> and <activity> elements to your desired name.
iOS: Icenium -> Properties -> iOS -> Display Name.

Steve

That works but why doesn't the Android project properties have a "Display Name" field for setting this like iOS does? Swapping both instances of "
@string/app_name
" in AndroidManifest.xml with the value of an Android app label would be very convenient. :)0
Hi Joe,
Yes, we're aware that the current approach is not very convenient and is also not consistent to the iOS options, so we would definitely add an option to accomplish this via the Icenium properties for subsequent version of the product.
Thank you for the feedback!
