Hi,

As Microsoft shifts it web strategy towards HTML5 leaving Silverlight behind what are your plans ?

Are you going to focus on HTML5 and reduce development of Silverlight controls?

Are you planning abandon completely Silverlight development at any stage ?

Thx

Who says Silverlight is going die?  The whole Windows Phone Mango is based on Silverlight.
Silverlight 5 is about to be released with huge support for XBOX and Mango.  They are uniting WPF and Silverlight into one product.

HTML5 is a concern in five years time perhaps..

Hello Sagi,

We are definitively not moving away from Silverlight - actually we are going to add even more components :).

According to the rumors now XAML is built-in directly in Windows 8 (you can check this blog post for more info) and most probably we are going to see very soon the long awaited mix between Silverlight and WPF - best from both worlds.

As to the HTML5 we have some exciting news to share very soon so stay tuned! ;)
