    Hello!
    RadExpander is a nice component that I want to use in my application. Unfortunately there is a small draw back to it: each time I click it there is that dotted frame visible that I would like to hide it,
    please check the attached images
    Is there a work arount for it?

    Thank you!

    Hi Roxana,

    Currently the only way to remove the focus visual is to edit the ControlTemplate of RadExpander. I've attached a sample project demonstrating this functionality. However, we have plans to support the FocusVisualStyle property so that it is not necessary to edit the whole ControlTemplate just to remove the focus visual. I've logged an item in our PITS under the name "Expander: Use FocusVisualStyle property to control focus visual" and it will be available for tracking tomorrow the latest. Let me know if you have additional questions or comments on the topic. I'd be glad to further assist you.

    Sincerely yours,

    So I see the ticket is marked as resolved. What's the final solution for using FocusVisualStyle and eliminating the dotted border?

    Hello Greg,

    It is in our plans to provide a fix for this issue for our official Q1 2012 release which is scheduled for the second half of February. Meanwhile you can use the workaround suggested in this forum thread.

    Kiril and Vladislav,

    I am having the same issue still with the 2012.1.215 version.  I still get the dotted frame visible on the Expander when I click it (see screenshot)

    I have also tried setting the FocusVisualStyle of it to null:

    <telerik:RadExpander x:Name="_expanderDescription"
                                                     ExpandDirection="Left"
                                                     FocusVisualStyle="{x:Null}" />

    But that doesn't change anything.  Am I missing something?  How can you get rid of that border?

    Hi Chad,

     Please let us first apologize for misleading you. This is actually not fixed and you can track its progress in this PITS item. We'll do our best to have it fixed for the SP till the end of the month.
