I would like something akin to the date or time picker but stacked vertically, not horizontally.  Basically the center column would contain the current settings and you would swipe left and right.  I figure a horizontal looping list would be ideal for this.  Unfortunately, I don't see a way to make this happen.  Am I missing something or am I just plain out of luck?

Excellent news!!  I will look forward to it with great anticipation.  I will store up great amounts of disappointment in the hopes I can smash it all against the rocks! :)

Hello Craig,

In fact, you will be able to check out this new feature in a couple of days when the Q2 2011 Beta2 is released. Stay tuned by checking out our website for further news.

I noticed it wasn't in the current Beta. ;)

That is great news and I look forward to playing with it.

Another thought hit me while thinking about this, who about a list that can scroll both ways?  Picking a date on a calendar would be a great example. You scroll horizontally for the day of the week and then vertically for the week.  It would be a nicer calendar interface than the existing vertical list.  Just something to think about.

Hi Craig,

This is an interesting idea. I think now provided that you have both horizontal and vertical scrolling ability in RadLoopingList, you can mimic this behavior by using two instances of this control and position them accordingly.

For now, I will consider this thread closed. You can write back anytime you have further questions or need assistance.

Kind regards,
