Q: What is Tasks by Telerik?
A: Tasks is one of the most popular to-do (productivity) applications on the Windows 8 and Windows Phone stores. 
The purpose of the application is simple - to help you organize your everyday tasks.
With Tasks you can create tasks, projects, categories, use location services, use your contacts, record audio and much much more. On top of that, Tasks allows you to backup your data to the cloud and sync it across devices. This way you'll never lose anything valuable.

Q: Where can I get Tasks?
A: Tasks comes in 2 flavors:
Tasks for Windows Phone
Tasks for Windows 8/8.1

Q: What is the Tasks Dedicated Cloud Service and why should I choose it?
A: Tasks Cloud Service is our own cloud synchronization solution which allows for full task/category/project synchronization among devices (windows phone 8, windows 8 desktop, windows 8 tablet). This is not the case with the other two providers - Microsoft Exchange and Google Tasks.

Q: How can I setup an Exchange synchronization account?
A: Please, follow the instructions below for setting Exchange synchronization account up:
- in the username field enter your username
- in the password field- your password
- in the email field- your email
- the value of the server field enter https://mailxyz.org/EWS/Exchange.asmx, where https://mailxyz.org is your server
- do not fill the domain field, its value is extracted automatically from the e-mail if nothing is entered 
- check the "Server requires SSL" checkbox

Q: How can I setup an Office 365 synchronization account?
A: Please, follow the instructions below for setting Office 365 synchronization account up:
- in the username field enter your email
- in the password field- your password
- in the email field- your email
- the value of the server field enter https://mailxyz.org/EWS/Exchange.asmx, where https://mailxyz.org is your server
- do not fill the domain field, its value is extracted automatically from the e-mail if nothing is entered

Q: How to reset my Telerik cloud provider account's password?
A: Please, follow the steps below:
- Select the Telerik cloud provider 
- Wait for the Edit provider page to loaded
- Select the Reset password button
- The Tasks team will be notified that there is a reset password request

Q: How to change my Telerik cloud provider account's password?
A: If you have lost your password or you need to change it due to security concerns, a password reset request should be sent. If a specific new value is required, it could be specified into that email. Please refer to the previous question.

Q: What is an activation key and how do I get it?
A: An activation key is used to unlock all application’s paid features. It is given to customers who provide us with valuable feedback about the application or discover an unknown major issue and that is not related to the purchasing mechanism.

Q: Do I have to purchase different licenses for the Windows Phone and Windows RT/8/8.1 versions of Tasks?
A: Yes, the Windows Phone marketplace and Windows RT/8/8.1 store are different stores, that have no connection between them and both versions of Tasks are entirely different applications, so two licenses are required.

Q: I have more than one Windows device using the same Microsoft account. Do I have to buy a license for each device?
A: No, one license is enough.

Q: I have purchased some functionality, but something happened and now I am asked to buy the same functionality all over again. What should I do?
A: The purchasing mechanism is controlled by Microsoft and the user should not be able to purchase an already paid feature or application. If you notice something like that at Tasks, please contact us and we will help you to resolve the issue.

Q: What kind of synchronization providers does Tasks support?
A: Tasks for Windows Phone 8 supports:
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 (or later)
- Office365
- Tasks Dedicated Cloud Service*
Tasks for Windows RT/8/8.1 supports:
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 (or later)
- Office365
- Tasks Dedicated Cloud Service
- Google Tasks

*Note: Due to OS limitation, the Tasks Dedicated Cloud Service is not included into the latest Windows Phone 7 version (v.1.37) of Tasks.
