  Thanks to everyone providing us feedback for Telerik OpenAccess ORM.
  
  We have carefully reviewed all the input and finalized our Roadmap for the next release. In addition, we made up our list for new databases to be supported in 2009.

  New wizards with lots of options would be great!  Very excited to hear OA is moving forward aggressively.
  
  Truth is, I'll admit I'm not that experienced with ORMs and certainly OA specifically.  Anything OA can have added to where I can run a wizard, make some selections (although have them defaulted to something sensible until I get the hang of things) and have the following extremely simplified would be great:
  
  1.  Be able to easily grab a single record from a table in the DB and store in a mapped object by providing its ID
  2.  Grab all the objects from a table
  3.  Grab objects matching a particular criteria
  4.  Persits the objects and delete them.
  
  I think #1 and possibly #3 are the ones which might be lacking in OA right now, without extra effort of writing SQL statements (which are string-based and offer no intellisense like a LINQ statement might).

  Hi MWM,
  Thanks for your suggestions. What I wanted to mention again is that we are extending our LINQ support, to cover all known and useful cases, so soon you will be able to have all the LINQ functionality you are used to with L2S.

  The simple answer is YES. We will have dynamic LINQ support for Q1 2009.

  Views will be supported with Q2 latest. Still, there is chance for Q1, but we need to finish the full support for stored procedures first, which for us is related with the Views support.

  I would've thought views would be implemented prior to stored procedures but either way thanks for the update and hopefully they can be done in Q1.

  As I can see, OpenAcces Q1 2009 release is already published. And what about the Express version of OpenAcess? Will it keep tracking its elder brother :-) ?

  Yes, Telerik OpenAccess ORM Express Edition has a new version for the Q1 2009 release and it is available for download in your account -> Your Products -> Downloads -> Telerik OpenAccess ORM Express.

  Is the IBM DB2 support still on track for the end of the year? We are considering using OpenAccess ORM in our product but we have specific requirements to support MS SQL, Oracle, and DB2 implementations with our clients.

  will be the new version of OA published shortly in this year? We need the announced version to get spatial data types in our class model.
