See attached. I'm not getting all of my objects when I run the Data Services Wizard. I don't see any difference between the two objects. What would cause an item to not be selectable?

I removed all but two of the mapped objects to make it easy to troubleshoot otherwise I have about 2 of 8 showing in the wizard.

Update: I my have figured out the problem but I'm unsure if it's a bug, limitation or OA. Each table that is not appearing in the Data Service Wizard end in the word Data ( MyTableData ). The data has been migrated from XLS, and these are the naming conventions I am working with.

Regards,
Ed

Hello Echarbeneau,

First, let me apologize for the delayed reply.
We have figured out the problem of renaming the Model entities with the DSW. Currently the DSW checks the rlinq entity name with the actual database table name and if they are not compatible, the wizard  will not show it in the grid. You can only use the plural suffix along with the table name like (s, es, ies). In this case, the DSW will easily detect them.

We will ship the fix for this bug with the next release, so you should not experience problem of this nature again.
Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

When will this problem of the missing entities be fixed? Will this be included in the next internal build as I certainly cannot wait until the next release as you state?  It seems ridiculous to me the the DSW does not pick up on the fact that an entity might not have the same name as the database table it is based on and therefore does not list it in the DSW grid.

Jonathan
