RadControls for ASP.NET are no longer supported (see this page for reference). In case you have inquiries about the Telerik ASP.NET AJAX controls, post them in the pertinent ASP.NET AJAX forums.

    Hi,

I am new to the concept of Telerik. I was wanting to use the Telerik Toolbar so that our web users can format text that they enter on our web pages. i.e indent, bold and spell check

I have installed the trial version of the Toolbar but I don`t know how to display the Toolbar on a web page. I am using Visual Studio.net and I have dragged the Toolbar icon from the toolbox onto the page in design mode and have added a Multiline text box. When I view the web page in a browser just the text box appears and not the Telerik Toolbar. Do I need to assign the toolbar to the textbox control on the page? Do I need to code the toolbar in order for it to work.

I know this is probably really basic stuff but I am stuck and any help would be appriciated.

    Regards
    Gary

    Hi Gary,

This is strange. Anyway, I strongly recommend you consider using RadToolBar for ASP.NET AJAX instead of the classic RadToolBar which you have downloaded.

If you decide to stay with the classic version and the problem persists, please open a support ticket and send us a small working sample which we can test.

    Kind regards,
